Good ol’ paranoia is setting in today. A hug would remedy that. At least the sun is shining.

I know that everyone else
I know that everyone else linked to this mastery days ago, but I thought some of my readers might not have seen it (ok, so I’m bored, I’m wondering what to post here, and hey presto!). NASA faked the moon landing photos – the truth is revealed.

As further proof that I
As further proof that I am so busy that I don’t have time to do all the blog reading that I would like to, I am a few days late in getting my congratulations in to Fredshead. And that is still, in my opinion, the best American blog by miles.

I’ve just been giving Mo
I’ve just been giving Mo some advice about his Yucca plant, and began pondering the way that they have this ability to revert to a sort of log-like stasis, and then spring back to life as soon as they are fed, watered and generally cared for. Wouldn’t it be handy if people could do this? Tom could become a log until he gets a new job, which would certainly cut down on the household bills.

Of course, parsley is traditionally
Of course, parsley is traditionally used in Italian and other Mediterranean cookery as an antidote to garlic. It very effectively nullifies the halitosis-inducing qualities of that bulb, even in dried form. And it also adds a pleasant freshness to new potatoes. But then, I am a fan of parsley – always have been, since I used to nab sprigs of it from my father’s plants in our garden when I was a child.

I’m not only feeling sentimental,
I’m not only feeling sentimental, but my concentration levels are low as well.
I think that sending emails to friends will help (arf!). -
I’m feeling all sentimental this
I’m feeling all sentimental this morning. Not sure why – could be because of the silly chain mail that was in my inbox this morning about “the good old days”; maybe because it is my parents 41st wedding anniversary today and they had loads of greetings in the mail inbox when I switched on this pc – all from distant relatives in far-flung corners of the world; maybe because I heard today that the wife of someone I know through work has been admitted to hospital with breast cancer; perhaps because I’m thinking a lot about someone at the moment. I’m tired too after yesterday, so I guess I’m vulnerable to sentimentality.
Whatever the reason, I don’t think it is a bad thing at all. -
Well, in spite of the
Well, in spite of the fact it blew a gale, poured with rain, and was thoroughly miserable and uncomfortable, the plant fair was less than a disaster, although it was far from a success.
And, aside from all that, I’m in a bloody good mood.
