    Beer tonight with Arron, Paul F, Dave, Phil, Aris, Tanya, Steve C, Tim, the lovely Helen (hi!) and her friends (sorry if I have your names wrong!) Anita and Rebecca. Several others sighted. I’ve come home in a very good mood, but I need to sleep now.

  • Hang on – what in

    Hang on – what in the world is “shameful” about not leaving the Sussex town (or city) where you grew up? From what I have seen, London is not all bright lights, trendy bars and happy people – it certainly is not the be-all and end-all. There is something to be said for living in the area where you grew up – in my case, many of my old friends are still around, I’ve made many new friends and I’ve had some great experiences. You don’t have to move away to experience life. If you do, your experiences might be different, but I am not convinced that they are necessarily better.
