Guh. This is pretty good, but would be even better if it was widened to include other sound effects. My all-time favourites must include “fankle!” (the sound of a football tackle), “tootle! parp!” (the sound of a road laying machine) and “loud snores!” (the sound of a policeman sleeping being played back over an ice cream van’s speaker system).

hmm. My CD-ROM drive here at home has ceased to function. I suspect that it merely needs cleaning. Unfortunately, that means removing my PC case and removing the drive, and frankly, I can’t be done with that at the moment.
When will CD-ROM manufacturers build a device where you can get to the object lens easily to clean it?
