Update: shoulder still very sore. If this persists, I think I may seek medical attention – which will mean a lecture about my steadily increasing weight and my less-than-healthy drinking habits. And possibly also mention of the fact that I’ve not had a holiday in 15 months – my doctor has a thing about taking a break frequently.

Somehow I’ve really hurt my shoulder so that twisting and turning is agony. Sleep was very fitful last night, as every time I moved I was woken by the pain. Not good – pass the ibuprofen.
