Treacle sleeps in some pretty odd places.
I’ve just spent 20 minutes cleaning up blood on the floor and the sofa. She’s had a fight with another cat and didn’t win – a tear in her left ear was dripping blood everywhere. I’ve cleaned up the blood and the wound, but she might end up with a "bus ticket" ear.

Aww hope she’s ok. Looks very peaceful in that photo in a contented cat kinda way.
I was thinking – will the kids of tomorrow understand what I mean by "bus ticket ear"? Are there any bus routes left in the UK where they print one of those long and thin flimsy tickets when you get on board, only for an inspector to come along and clip a bit out of the side?
