Val Bourne – The UK’s Leading Natural Gardener
Val is an excellent writer who understands plants. She was telling me today that she will only write about plants that she has grown herself, so you can be sure she truly understands the subject of her articles.

Horrendous website, but great shop. In particular, in the basement you will find “Mitch” Mitchell’s offer of maps, which includes a good and regularly refreshed range of OS stuff. Got some good stuff there today, will be back for more.

Guide to second hand bookshops in East Sussex (and other counties). Not recently updated, it seems, apart from the bulletpoint “news” section at the top.

Mum is finding the blue (extra strong) to be useful for her hands – a combination of arthritis and MND. We might get a tub for H’s Dad and possibly also for H, as she is still suffering after her arm fracture at the turn of the year. NB – cheaper on Amazon.

This is more the classic K&S sound than Dynamite (which I quite like, but don’t love – except the Boogie Funk mix, which is excellent).

Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 official: Tegra 2, Honeycomb, dual cameras (hands-on with video) — Engadget
Hmm. Given the teething problems with early Notion Ink Adams, not to mention the clearly-flaky customer service and support, this might be the more sensible purchase. I’ll only have to wait until next month. Of course, whilst the carrier (Vodafone – ugh – no reception here in Ruralville) has been announced, the price is still a mystery.
