One, obtained second-hand for the princely sum of &pound;2.99, is <a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.co.uk\/exec\/obidos\/redirect?tag=gr-21%26link_code=xm2%26camp=2025%26creative=165953%26path=http:\/\/www.amazon.co.uk\/gp\/redirect.html%253fASIN=B000005NT8%2526tag=gr-21%2526lcode=xm2%2526cID=2025%2526ccmID=165953%2526location=\/o\/ASIN\/B000005NT8%25253FSubscriptionId=0Q8P2R2P6WGAW5FCNZ82\" title=\"View product details at Amazon, with samples\">Land of the Lost<\/a> by Greyboy &#8211; definitely suitable for dinner parties in polite company (assuming said company has good taste, of course) or, as we did this evening, for listening to whilst flopping on the sofa. The second, obtained from my favourite record store in Brighton (Edge World Records, for those in the know), is Seasonally Affective, a retrospective by <a href=\"http:\/\/www.piano-magic.co.uk\/index.html\" target=\"_blank\" title=\"Piano Magic\">Piano Magic<\/a> &#8211; they wonderfully describe their music as &quot;romantic and square&quot;, which is a fair description of tracks like The Sharpest Knife In The Drawer but doesn&#8217;t really cover the bleeps and bloops of For Engineers AA. Recommended.<\/p>\n<p>I *so* need to get back into listening to music <i>properly<\/i>.<\/p>\n<div class=\"tiny\">EDIT: you know, I can&#8217;t help but think that someone like <a href=\"http:\/\/www.whereveryouare.org.uk\/weblog\/\" target=\"_blank\" title=\"wherever he is\">Vaughan<\/a> would enjoy music that is &quot;romantic and square&quot;.
