What is it with fireworks around here lately? They’re at it again.
Also (and somewhat bizarrely), someone has scattered playing cards the length of my street. What does it all mean?

Brilliant news of the day: I mentioned a while ago that Sally was unwell. Well, she is now at home (or at least with her Mum) and is on the mend. Excellent news, and a relief as I hadn’t heard anything.

It is, apparently, “unseasonably mild”. Why do I still have this desire to be in Lisbon, or some other place that is much warmer than here?
