I’ve just walked thorugh the city – it is a glorious sunny and warm day, actually feeling like summer. Lots of people were sitting and lying on the Cathedral Green, enjoying lunch in the sun – pensioners, families, young couples, groups of teenagers – some even wearing skimpy summer clothes. Several people were looking up at the Cathedral spire to see if there was any sign of last year’s peregrine falcons, but I’ve not seen them myself.
And more scaffolding has been taken from the south side of the Cathedral – if I have a moment and the weather is good, I’ll take some photographs.
And I’m trying not to think about the football (a goal down! yipes!).
