I just got two 7 week old kittens, one of which is mine, and they soon will be taken away from me because of a selfish “friend”. My mom won’t allow any of the cats to be lonely, so her rule is “It’s two, or nothing”. Anyway, i just spent my night (i’m supposed to be doing a project!) crying, trying to change what’s going to happen. Is it alright to separate two brother kittens? won’t they be lonely?

They’ll miss each other at first, but my experience suggests that kittens are pretty resilient creatures and, so long as they get plenty of attention from human friends, they’ll be ok.
