Lots around our way – they seem particularly keen on Centranthus.

Being from the Bognor area, I have many memories of the Picturedrome, including watching the Back to the Future trilogy in the wrong order (it was very confusing) and being pelted with sweets by some girls sitting half a dozen rows further back. I also remember the mechanical lantern in the tower being illuminated, certianly in the early 70s when we used to pass the cinema on the way home from visiting my grandmother on each and every Friday night.

Possibly the best act on this week's Jools (aside from Regina Spektor, who is amazing), although it seems that they are a better studio act than live – but it was ever thus for anyone with synths.

Really rather talented singer songwriter. It's like the 80s, all over again and in a good way.

Lisa Hannigan – Irish singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist. Really rather good, we think.

Well done to the trustees of Pallant House for getting this media coverage – but what a shame they didn't think to put a donations page on their website at the same time. I'd give a fiver, without hesitation.

Rather good headphone/microphone set for the price (around £45).

Review aggregator. Nice – will become as indispensible as Kelkoo/Froogle.

Brooklyn-based indie rock band, playing something that I would classify as neither indie nor rock – something like a cross between an upbeat James Yorkston and the Athletes infused with some early 70s prog rock. No really. Very good indeed and the highlight of tonight's Jools Live (aside from Booker T, natch).

I think I might declare UDI. But not for the living room, just to be confusing. And maybe not the broom cupboard.
