I’ve just been giving Mo some advice about his Yucca plant, and began pondering the way that they have this ability to revert to a sort of log-like stasis, and then spring back to life as soon as they are fed, watered and generally cared for. Wouldn’t it be handy if people could do this? Tom could become a log until he gets a new job, which would certainly cut down on the household bills.
