For those of us who like to get more than one version of the news, I heartily recommend OTN’s Afghan Media Monitor which is offering English language translations of news stories broadcast by the Afghan media, including the AIP (Afghan Islamic Press).
OTN’s reporting style tends to focus more on people on the ground than the wider politics. It can offer great insights. See their homepage.
