Tonight: Bren’s birthday extravaganza. I’ve got my fancy dress sorted (Roy Orbison – no, there won’t be any pictures). A small pressie and card are prepared. Need to book the taxi. There’ll be just one thing missing though – Marianne can’t make it, which is a great shame.
Still, I’m looking forward to it – should be the social event of the year.
