But I have noted that Ireland have a distinct advantage over Saudi Arabia in today’s World Cup match: their names. If you wanted to catch the attention of a player in your team on a football field, wouldn’t you prefer to shout Duff, Kelly or Breen instead of “Oi! Khamis al-Owairan Al Dossary!”
