…but, the new BBC weather symbols, maps and displays.. crap! Where is the Atlantic synoptic chart? How the hell can you tell what’s going on? Bring back the old magnetic clouds!

separating the wanted from the unwanted
I particularly liked the response on Breakfast News this morning to the person complaining that the new maps cannot be read on a black & white TV: “well at least you’ll be able to see the temperatures”
And to the sailor & farmer who were worried about the lack of wind indicators: “we’ll show them when we think suitable”
It’s enough to make you want to withhold your license fee…
