Those of us who work for said site could possibly be a little upset by that question…
My remarks are intended as a commentary on BBC policy, not the actions of individuals carrying out those policies.
It leads to a discussion as to whether or not the BBC should be able to achieve such a dominant position in UK-based content provision. It distorts competition and the market. Whether it distorts it beyond that level of distortion that is acceptable is a matter for debate.
